Carolina ACD Rescue & Rebound is dedicated to helping Australian Cattle Dogs in need of rescue from kill shelters, neglect, and abandonment. We primarily rescue from municipal and county shelters in the Southeast. Most of these dogs were picked up as strays or surrendered to shelters by their owners; most were at risk of being euthanized. We also assist owners needing to re-home dogs. Through our website, social media, and public events we strive to educate the public about this breed and prevent other cattle dogs from becoming another dog in need.

We do not operate a shelter. The dogs in our rescue are in foster homes where they interact with humans and other dogs. By using a foster home environment we are able to evaluate these dogs for temperament, and provide basic obedience and crate training.

Our foster homes are located in the Carolina's, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia. Through our foster program, these dogs receive routine veterinary care, training and lots of TLC while we search for their new forever homes.
