Forever loved. Forever yours. Forever home.

Carolina ACD Rescue & Rebound

Foster homes are always our biggest need, but there are many other ways you can help us out every day!

Foster: Foster homes are always our greatest need! The more foster homes we have, the more ACDs we can save. We cover all vet expenses and handle the entire adoption process for you. Please visit our Foster page for more information.

Join us on Facebook: We have a very active Facebook page which is the best way to communicate with our supporters and volunteers. We often post asking for volunteers to help out when needed. If you are on Facebook, please Like us at Carolina ACD Rescue & Rebound to follow what's happening and keep an eye out for something we might need your help with!

Support our Fundraising Efforts: Carolina ACD R&R covers all expenses for our foster dogs - from the shelter pull fee, to initial vetting (spay/neuter, shots, heartworm tests), to treating medical conditions or training issues the dog may have while in our care. Adoption fees alone do not cover our out-of-pocket costs. Our Fundraising Committee works tirelessly on various fundraising efforts year 'round! Follow us on Facebook for updates and information on our fundraising events!

Foster Angel: While R&R always covers all of our foster dogs' medical and preventative expenses, our foster parents cover the cost of daily expenses such as food, treats, basic supplies and toys. These expenses can add up! Our Foster Angel Program allows you to help support a foster by either making a single donation of $35 or donating $35 a month until the dog is adopted. Donations can be made via PayPal or check. Of course all donations are tax deductible!

Volunteer:

Call References: Our Adoption Questionnaire asks applicants to provide 3 references. Calling references is an easy and flexible way you can help the adoption process move along and help us get to know our applicants better. We have a "Reference Check" form that provides a clear outline on what questions to ask.

Do a Home Visit: The last step of our adoption process is the home visit. We receive applications from all over the Carolinas and beyond and sometimes aren't personally able to visit applicants ourselves because of distance. Again, we have a checklist to follow and will always post on our Facebook page if we are in need of someone to help us out.

Help with transport: Keep an eye out for any transports coming your way and let us know if you can help! Mileage is tax-deductable since we are a 501(c)3 rescue.

Evaluate or pull a dog who's in your local shelter.
