Jake's Tugs
Jake's Tugs
Jake's Tugs come in three sizes – Big, Small, and Itty Bitty. They are handmade and braided very tightly for durability. They are machine washable but should be air-dried. Tugs are an interactive toy only and your dog should never be left alone with one. Colors vary depending on what I have in stock.
Big Tugs
Thick, meaty tugs with a braided, looped handle at one end and large fleecy knot at the other end.
$12 + S&H
Small Tugs
Not necessarily shorter but much thinner and have knots at both ends rather than a looped handle.
$8 + S&H
Itty Bitty Tugs
Also have knots at both ends but are thinner and shorter for the smaller dogs.

The History of Jake's Famous Tugs
Jake's Tugs are named after Melissa's Australian Cattle Dog, No Worries Jake. She began making these tugs for Jake when she discovered he had a passion for playing tug of war and the tugs sold at regular stores just didn't seem like they would survive long.
Jake's Tugs became our first fundraiser!
When Carolina ACD R&R was founded in 2007, we immediately began rescuing cattle dogs from the kill shelters in both North and South Carolina. The money to pay for pull fees, vet expenses, transportation and food had all come out of the pockets of the seven of us in the rescue group. We knew we couldn't begin to fund all the rescue work by ourselves. That's when Melissa began selling Jake's Tugs as a fundraiser for the rescue. Every penny you pay for the tugs goes to the rescue.
